Watch Frank Ocean Perform Some New Songs Live
Frank Ocean performed a few new songs in Munich on Tuesday, singing lusciously in front of images of cars. It’s hard to get much of a read on the new material knowing that Ocean both rejiggers his songs for concerts and injects a lot of studio flair into the final products. But he’s still telling stories, singing about heartbreak and California, being introspective, and sounding nice! Hopefully he’ll imitate Jay-Z’s “Surprise, I have an album coming in two weeks!” for the follow-up to Channel Orange. Can that happen soon?
