Tina Fey, Jack Burditt, and Robert Carlock Developing CBS Multi-Cam Comedy

The team behind Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt have a new show in the works at CBS. According to Deadline, Tina Fey, Robert Carlock, and Jack Burditt have sold an untitled multi-cam show to CBS that follows “an oddball athlete who drives family, friends and strangers bonkers after he unexpectedly finds himself retired.” The project is written by Burditt, who will co-executive produce with Fey and Carlock. This makes the second Fey-produced project that recently sold to a major network; she will also executive produce Tracey Wigfield’s NBC pilot about “a millennial woman who joins a cable news network.”
