Sacha Baron Cohen Wants Klowns Danish Comedy Team to Write The Lesbian
Sacha Baron Cohen is looking to hire Danish comedians Casper Christensen and Frank Hvam to pen his next film, The Lesbian. The duo created and starred in an awkward comedy series called Klovn, which birthed a raunchy indie film, Klown. Variety’s sources say Baron Cohen loved Klown so much he traveled to Denmark and convinced Christensen and Hvam to pause work on a sequel so they could tackle The Lesbian. The comedy will be based on a 2012 news story about a Hong Kong billionaire offering $65 million to a man who could successfully marry his lesbian daughter.
