Jean-Claude Van Damme Grapples and Strikes His Way Into Another Kickboxer Sequel
You can take the man out of the kickboxing ring, but you can’t take the kickboxing out of the man. Jean-Claude Van Damme has signed on to return to the Kickboxer universe with Kickboxer: Retaliation, the sequel to this year’s Kickboxer: Vengeance, and the second film in the proposed reboot trilogy. Best known for originating the role of Kurt Sloane in the 1989 film Kickboxer (which spurred four sequels in the 1990s), Van Damme returned to the franchise with Vengeance in the new role of a karate master. Filming begins in Thailand next week, with a release date aimed for 2017. Hi-Yah!
