Its Unclear if Dolph Lundgrens Kindergarten Cop 2 Is a Sequel or a Remake

Kindergarten Cop 2 is a real thing that exists, and with the debut of the film’s trailer today we finally have definitive proof. Dolph Lundgren stars in the movie, which up until now has been described as a “sequel” but really just seems like a nearly exact remake of the original 1990 film starring Arnold Schwarzenegger. The only difference is that Lundgren’s character doesn’t seem to have a pet ferret and he won’t enjoy a big box office weekend – the movie is set for a straight-to-DVD release on May 17th. Whether it’s a sequel or a remake, though, one thing seems certain: It does not look like a very good movie!
