Issa Rae Has Two New Projects in Development at HBO
Insecure creator/star Issa Rae has two more TV projects in the works at HBO. According to Deadline, Rae has teamed up with writer Travon Free (The Daily Show, Full Frontal) for a half-hour single-cam comedy series in development at the network called Him or Her, which “chronicles the dating life of a bisexual black man and the distinctly different worlds and relationships he finds himself in.” In addition, Rae is also developing an hourlong drama called Sweet Life with Raamla Mohamed (Scandal), which is set in Windsor Hills and described as “a coming of age tale of the well-heeled teens growing up in the LA neighborhood.” Rae will serve as an executive producer on both projects.
