Rachel Brosnahan — famous among her fans for frequently playing queer characters — has been cast to star in Amy Sherman-Palladino’s Amazon pilot, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. According to Deadline, Brosnahan will play the title character, a doting 1950s New York housewife and mother of two whose husband skips out on her for another woman.
