BSGs Tricia Helfer Lands Role on NBCs The Firm

Tricia Helfer, perhaps best known for the stunningly blonde and red-silhouetted Cylon she portrayed in Syfy’s Battlestar Galactica, is headed to NBC’s new series The Firm. Based on John Grisham’s best-selling second novel by the same name, Helfer will play a senior partner at Kinross & Clark, the mob-linked law firm at the center of it all. She will be starring opposite Josh Lucas, who will be headlining as Mitch McDeere — played by Tom Cruise in the 1991 1993 movie — and fellow BSG Cylon Callum Keith Rennie. Throw in a dash of that half-human-half-cyborg moral ambiguity and her icy stare, and Helfer’s got all the makings of one high-powered lawyer. [TVLine]
